Acting Class Materials for Town Classes

We are so happy to have you join our town’s acting classes!

Below are some of the class materials we’ll be using. You’re welcome to download them to study and review at home. Hard copies will also be provided during class.

We’re excited to have you in the program and look forward to working with you as you continue to develop your acting skills.

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here. Please take a moment to review our first-day handout for helpful information to get you started.

Part of warming up as an actor is warming up your speaking voice, and tongue twisters are a great way to do that. Click above to download the tongue twister sheet—it’s also a lot of fun too!

This paper introduces important acting terms, including objective, action, and obstacle. These terms help students understand their character’s goals and make stronger choices in a scene or monologue.
